...to save this piece of land forever. By standing up for the land and water together, we DO make a difference.
Since our community opposition to development began in April 2023, we have made significant strides. Your petition signatures, calls, emails and attendance at meetings with York Township and Red Lion School District helped to successfully challenge zoning changes that threatened this landscape. Following the victories at the York Township Zoning Hearings in July 2023 and August 2024, we are now working to purchase and preserve the property for public use. The following conceptual map shows the many possibilities for this property, including walking trails, wildlife observation areas, open-air classroom, restored meadows and wetlands, and more!
